| Location Narrative |
The stand is located in the City of Chico, Doe Mill Meadowfoam Preserve about 200 m SE of the end of Warfield Street (i.e. where the street crosses an old unusable bridge across a diversion canal). The plot is dominated by Lasthenia fremontii and Navarretia sp., with some emergent Lolium multiflorum and Deschampsia danthonioides.; The site is now a Limnanthes reserve. The reserve has not been grazed this season although it was likely grazed in the past. The site was burned about 4 years ago according to Rod McDonald.
